
Admission to 1st year Diploma Courses Maharashtra State (CAP)
The Candidate must have passed secondary school certificate (SSC) Examination of Maharashtra state board of secondary and higher secondary Education or equivalent examination with following subjects :
- General Science or Physics and Chemistry
- Elementary Mathematics or Algebra and Geometry.
- English
- with at least 35% marks in aggregate for all categories belonging to Maharashtra State. Admission Rule and registration will be as per the directives of The Director, Technical Education, Mumbai
For Other State (for CAP/ Institute Level)
The candidates from outside the Maharashtra State must have passed SSC Examination from the institute recognized by M. S. Board of Secondary Education, Pune, and Maharashtra with following subjects:
- General Science or Physics and Chemistry
- Elementary Mathematics or Algebra and Geometry.
- English
- With individual passing in each subject by securing minimum 35% marks in aggregate. Admission Rules & Regulation will be as per the directives of the Director, Technical Education, Mumbai.
For Maharashtra State (for Institute Level)
The Candidate must have passed secondary school certificate (SSC) Examination of Maharashtra state board of secondary and higher secondary Education or equivalent examination with following subjects :
- General Science or Physics and Chemistry
- Elementary Mathematics or Algebra and Geometry.
- English
- with at least 35% marks in aggregate for all categories belonging to Maharashtra State. Admission Rule and registration will be as per the directives of The Director, Technical Education, Mumbai.
Eligibility Criteria for lateral entry to 2nd year Diploma courses
The required educational qualification is as follows. The candidate should be Indian national. Backward Class category candidates should recognize as backward class category in Maharashtra State only).

Note :
- Eligibility of the student for the specific branches of diploma programmes shall be as per MSBTE guidelines.
- Any vacant seats available in second year / third semester of post S.S.C diploma programme may be filled by the students acquiring either H.S.C (Technical / vocational) of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education at the end of admission process.
DOCUMENTS
Candidates are advised to bring following documents (both original and three sets of attested documents) while reporting for admission as per the schedule.
- SSC/ CBSE Mark Sheet, Manual Marksheet for CBSE students.
- School Leaving Certificate (Original ).
- Mark Sheet of HSSC ( if applicable)
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for VJ/NT(A)/NT(B)/NT(C)/NT(D)/OBC/SBC valid upto 31st March 2013.
- Caste Validity Certificate.
- Domicile Certificate.-Only for candidates of Maharashtra State, Maharashtra Domicile Certificate.
- Indian Nationality Certificate-For all candidates seeking admission in Diploma.
- Four colored photographs of 3.5x3.5 cm size.
- Zero Account in the Nationalized Bank
Students eligible for scholarship / free ship schemes are required to open Zero Account in their name in the nationalized bank only. The Institute shall provide Zero Account Form of Punjab National Bank at the time of admission. Specimen copy of duly filled in zero account form shall also be displayed on the notice board. ADMISSION PROCESS
- Centralized Allotment Procedure
- Admission process is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai.
- A student desiring admission has to submit application form to the ARC.
- As per the schedule, the student has to give options for the choice of college and branch.
- DTE then allots the College and Branch according to Merit and preferences given by the student.

- Institutional Quota Admission
- The institutional level admission details will be published in the leading newspapers.
